My Grandmother made this soup so very often for my my siter's and I as we grew up but I was so young I never learned her recipe. I'm so excited to try it. I remember she often added sweet onion from her huuuuge garden to her pancakes as well ...Yummy, I can't wait to try the recipe and walk down memory lane. <br />I was wondering...my Grandma also made a cold vinegar based German potato salad with endive also from her garden. We would roll it up in our pancakes. Do you by chance know of a recipe she may have used. I would love to make it for my Dad,(her son). He's 83 now.
